MOTIONS FOR MEDICAL SCIENCE WEEK

BPJS Kesehatan

1. THBT BPJS Kesehatan should return into previous system

2. THW oblige general medical practitioner to take family medicine education

3. THBT Government should extend member of PBI BPJS Kesehatan and not limited to low economy class people

Tobacco

1. THBT cigarette company should pay medical cost for smokers who suffer pulmonary illness

2. THW give less prioritize for medical services to active smokers

3. THBT marijuana should be as legal as tobacco

Alternative Medicine

1. THW ban alternative medicine which does not have evidence based

2. THBT patients may not use their health insurance for illness if they took alternative medicine for the same illness before going to hospital

3. THW include alternative medicine in medical education curriculum

Vaccine

1. THW oblige people who lives in endemic area to have vaccine

2. Acting as MUI, THW give a halal certificate to all kind of vaccine regardless of substance of the vaccine

3. THBT a natural immunity is better than vaccine

Ethic

1. THW allow patients with terminal illness to request euthanasia

2. THW use corpses organ for organ transplant even without family consent

3. THW ban cosmetic surgery without medical necessity

International and MDGs

1. THW apply one child policy in countries with high mother mortality rate

2. THW not recognize HIV drug patent in developing countries

3. THW allow foreign graduate doctors to practice without any additional education
